Bobbie-Jo Alexander
Bobbie-Jo is a daughter, a sister, a partner, a friend, and a proud auntie—but above all, a beautifully imperfect human being, devoted to living with intention, compassion, curiosity, and love. Since moving to the farm in 2019, she has been on a transformative journey of healing through rediscovering who she was meant to be and how she was meant to show up in this world. She has moved away from the story of separation into one of connection—learning to embrace all parts of herself with grace. Over the last six years she has been profoundly impacted and inspired by the people who have come into her life, the animals she gets to raise, and the land she has developed a relationship with, learning so much about vulnerability, acceptance, surrender, faith, presence and patience. Being supported and loved by the community and ecosystem that surrounds and holds her through this journey has made it possible for her to walk through the dark and into the light with less fear and more passion and purpose.

Janet Homann
Many years ago when I was asked to write a bit about the volunteer position I held at the time, I said it was like control top pantyhose - it holds everything together and runs. Today, as a "Rekindler behind the scene", I am grateful to have found this village of people who no longer have to hold everything together and run, a village where a person's value is not contingent on what one can do, but rather on who one is, a village that honours, learns, heals and plays together. Welcome to the Village.
